Cows by the Road Divider
(Few spontanous lines...)
Unfazed by the the vechicles zooming
Sitting by the side of the divider
Relaxin are these bovines, cud-chewing
Unperturbed by what world around them is doing.
Felt like they were quietly rebelling
Against humans occupying
Their places of dwelling.
They stuck to their position with
"You do what you can
I will do what I want" attitude
Like non-violent group on strike
A Little Girl at the Traffic Signal
(Few spontaneous Lines...)
Caught In a traffic roaring
With a mercury soaring
Saw this cute little girl
With wares over her body
And standing on the black hot flooring!
This little 'bud'
Tries to sell her wares - colorful twines, fancy chains and ear buds !
Walking barefoot on road hot
That salty beads on her forehead -
bother her not.
(Sometimes) standing on her toes,
Taps her little fingers on closed windows of the vehicles,
Almost begging to sell her wares in desperation
To people inside - causing exasperation.
As she earning a pence
The joy and smile on her tired face
Reveals its innocence.
The brightness of the sun and colors of her wares
Are yet to come into dark life of this cute little girl.
